The roundtable “The necessity to engage: the Eastern Partnership and grassroots involvement” is a part of the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Project “The Eastern Partnership under strain – time for a rethink?” (EaPpeal). The event will critically evaluate the EU’s role in its Eastern vicinity in the light of the latest political developments. It will draw together civil society representatives, scholars, researchers, students, experts who will be encouraged to exchange views, share opinions and recommendations on the progress of the EaP. The roundtable is organized by the Centre for European Studies of Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași and NGO “Quadrvium” together with Department of History, Political Science and International Relations ChNU.
