In order to motivate students and young activists for academic mobility and international dialogue the expert of NGO “Quadrivium” Nadiia Bureiko met with the participants of School for leaders (Chernivtsi, December 23). During the meeting she informed the audience about international programmes aimed at education and training of young leaders, volunteers, human rights activists and focused on the development of their personal and professional features.

In the period of globalization and new information technologies, an international cooperation in the field of education and science is becoming more intensive and gaining completely different dimensions. New realities require a modern specialist, public activist, young leader to offer unbiased approaches, new ideas and progressive outlook. Mobility and international activity, learning from the foreign colleagues’ experience, exchanging ideas and the perspective of joint projects – all these facilitate reforms, enhance transfer of methods and approaches and improve the competent professionals’ level.

Taking into account the globalization tendencies of modern society development, participation in the international mobility programmes is a necessary precondition for comprehensive development, self-improvement, personal and professional growth and self-realization of youth today.

The lecture embraced two sessions: 1) types of grants and scholarship programmes; 2) the peculiarities of application process.
Yulia Paraniuk, a participant of School for leaders, emphasized a practical meaning of the obtained information and its significance, claiming that the trainer’s advice and instructions “became an engine for further work and self-improving”
