On 10-15 of June the ENACTED summer school ‘Explaining EU’s actorness and its role in the Eastern neighbourhood of the EU’ was organized in Chisinau by the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova jointly with the Association for Ethnic and Regional Studies (ASER).

On 10-15 of June the ENACTED summer school ‘Explaining EU’s actorness and its role in the Eastern neighbourhood of the EU’ was organized in Chisinau by the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova jointly with the Association for Ethnic and Regional Studies (ASER).

The Summer School represents an activity within the framework of Jean Monnet Network ‘European Union and its neighbourhood Network for enhancing EU’s actorness in the Eastern borderlands’/ENACTED project, co-financed by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union and has brought together speakers and participants from all ENACTED partner countries, mainly  Belarus, Moldova, Poland, Romania and Ukraine.

Quadrivium’s vice-head Nadia Bureiko contributed to the summer school programme with the two lectures: ‘The EU-isation of Europe? Eurointegration, Europeanisation and the Europeanness quest’ and ‘Europeanisation of the Neighborhood. The case of Ukraine’. During her presentations, Bureiko focused on the Ukrainian perspective, highlighting the main achievements and challenges Ukraine faces on its Eurointegration path.
