In November 20, 2015 IX International scientific conference “Foreign Policy of Ukraine: Current Agenda” took place in Chernivtsi. This year NGO “Quadrivium” has been an official co-organizer of the event.
Nadiia Bureiko and Oksana Dobrzhanska, experts of “Quadrivium”, are the initiators who launched the conference in 2006 and hold the positions of its scientific coordinators since then. The conference annually hosted by Department of History, Political Science and International Relations at ChNU is well-known both in Ukraine and in the near abroad. It is a platform for discussions between young scholars and exchanging novel ideas and new visions concerning the problems in the international relations and contradictions between the states in the globalized world.

Traditionally the scientific discussions are structured in the 5 panels:
1. Achievements and problems of diplomatic service. Prominent diplomats’ activity;
2. Current problems of international relations;
3. Relations between Ukraine and neighbouring states;
4. International organizations. Cooperation between Ukraine and international organization;
5. Human rights in Ukraine and in the world.
Depending on the topics offered by the applicants during the application process each panel is always divided into sub-sections.
The organizational team has an unofficial motto of the conference that is a significant motivation for the participants: “Those who are debating Ukraine’s foreign policy today, tomorrow more probably will become in charge of it”.
