On April 24, 2019, the Jan-Nowak Jezioranski Collegium of Eastern Europe in Wroclaw, the editorial board of the ‘Nowa Europa Wschodnia’ journal and the Ossolinski National Library in Wroclaw organized a discussion ‘President from the screen? Ukraine after the elections – 2019’.

On April 24, 2019, the Jan-Nowak Jezioranski Collegium of Eastern Europe in Wroclaw, the editorial board of the ‘Nowa Europa Wschodnia’ journal and the Ossolinski National Library in Wroclaw organized a discussion ‘President from the screen? Ukraine after the election – 2019’.

Maria Protsiuk, expert of the NGO ‘Quadrivium’, participated in the discussion together with Jan Pieklo, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Ukraine in 2016- 2019, Adam Eberhardt, director of the Center for Eastern Studies in Warsaw and Olexander Kashinsky, a PhD student of the Ostroh Academy. The event was moderated by Andrzej Brzeziecki, the editor of the ‘Nowa Europa Wschodnia’ journal.

The invited speakers shared their impressions on the presidential campaign in Ukraine and exchanged views on prospects of Ukraine’s domestic and foreign policy, esp. with regards to bilateral relations between Ukraine and Poland.

The event was organized in cooperation with the Foundation Ukraine, Union of Ukrainians in Poland, and the Cathedral Parish of the Greek Catholic Church in Wroclaw.
